For my practicum at the Xenia Daily Gazette, I wrote several stories on a benefit the Cedarville community was having for the police chief, who has a liver disease.
I wrote a news brief on the event for online, and then my profile on the chief appeared on the front page of the Gazette the morning after the benefit.
